Fall Festival

CabooseFest: Hootenanny & Hayrides

This new fall festival will feature caboose hayrides, a pumpkin patch, marketplace vendors, games, a pie-baking contest, chicken wing eating contest, live entertainment, and food and beverages from Gypsy Joynt. All museum exhibits will be open during the festivities, and the classic film Ma and Pa Kettle will be shown on the outdoor jumbotron.

  • Parking: $5
  • Tickets will be sold online and at the door
  • Admission: Adults $15, Seniors $12, Kids 12 and under $10, Members $10, Military free

EVENT SCHEDULE

Caboose Hayrides

Hayrides aboard the Harborside Express Caboose will operate from 11:00 AM to 3:40 PM, departing every 40 minutes. A separate $10 ticket is required.

Live Entertainment

  • 12:00–3:00 PM: Hootenanny Singalong Jamboree featuring Kirk Ford, Joe Ramirez and Catherine Stroud

Contests

  • 10:00 AM–1:00 PM: Pie-baking contest entries accepted (register below)
  • 3:00 PM: Gypsy Joynt Chicken Wing Eating Contest (register below)
  • 3:30 PM: Chicken wing eating contest awards
  • 4:00 PM: Pie-baking contest judging and awards

Bring your best pie or test your appetite in the chicken wing eating contest. There is no fee to enter, and prizes will be awarded.
