The Galveston Railroad Museum is hosting a model train rally you are invited to participate. RailFest is a celebration of the railroad and will feature model train displays, live entertainment, exhibits and vendors. The event will take place in the train depot and at the beautifully appointed Garden of Steam located adjacent to the 5 acre railyard. The family event will be during regular museum hours: Saturday, April 25, 10 am – 5 pm, and Sunday, April 26, 10 am – 5 pm.
Model train builders from across the nation will show off their spectacular large scale model trains throughout the museum and on the railyard. The popular Depot Market will offer shopping opportunities and interactive activities for kids of all ages. We hope you can join us. We feature all of our vendors on social media and on our website.
Vendor and Exhibitor Admission and Parking is Complimentary with registration. A wristband will be issued. Vendor passes for 2 family members by request. Harborside Express Train Rides are $10 per person.
General Admission to the event: Museum Members, $10; Non Member Adults, $15, $12 Seniors, kids under 14, $10, 2 & Under Free. Active Military Free. All museum access with admission. Vendor passes for 2 family members by request. Vendor and Exhibitor Parking is Complimentary with registration. A wristband will be issued. Harborside Express Train Rides are $8 per person.
